Introduction We are an experienced couple, in our fifties, offering our services to look after and act as managers for your motel business on a relief management basis.
Credentials We have owned and managed, hands-on, our own hotel/motel in country NSW for a period of five years. The motel had 17 rooms and a bistro, providing breakfast to rooms and counter meals. We successfully included a separate a la carte restaurant, seating 40 people, in that premises. We have extensive food handling and cooking skills as well as the experience of managing staff in those roles.
Prior to the above we had twenty years experience in the hospitality industry in both a hands-on and supervisory capacity.
We are RSA, RSG and HSSAP trained and accredited and have considerable experience in the management of a business and the handling of staff. We have computer skills and are experienced with MYOB, having used that system in our own business.
Objectives We are seeking opportunities to accept assignments to offer to relieve business owners, in the above field, and manage their business for them on a temporary basis. We will listen carefully to your requirements and offer to carry on and manage your business, in accordance with your wishes, in an efficient and reliable way, to give you peace of mind during your absence.

Introducing Marjorie and Peter McKenzie
We are an experienced couple having owned the lease of 2 Motels in Queensland, one being a 14 room country Motel. We increased the AAA rating from 2.5 to a 3 star and increased the occupancy rate within our first 2 years. The other was larger Chain Motel in a major Queensland regional City.
We are both computer literate having used " Hotel Plus ", " Star Fleet ", "Rezbooks", as the booking system, Wotif, Check-in.com and Best Western as online computer reservations and "Cashmanager3 Accounting records" In both our previous Motels we provided breakfasts and evening meals served to the rooms. We have always got on well with our staff and we are experienced with staff rosters.
Marjorie has spent over 15 years in the hospitality industry owning a fast food takeaway and coffee lounge. Peter spent 23 years in the television industry as a cameraman, we are both honest and reliable and have references available if required.

We are a married couple in our mid fifties, honest, reliable, hard working and professional. EXPERIENCE
Our experience in the hospitality industry spans 20 years and includes ownership & relief management of motels, hotels & tourist parks. We have worked in hands on roles including cooking, cleaning, office management, staff supervision, building maintenance, and grounds work. We have owned and operated a hotel with a liquor license and restaurant and motels with meals to rooms only.
SKILLS
Building maintenance, cooking & safe food handling practices, cleaning, front office, bookkeeping including BAS and wages preparation, computer literate in most accommodation software and MYOB.
GOALS
To provide a professional level of expertise and a standard of care for your business as we would, for our own. We seek management on a short or long term basis in small or large businesses lasting from two weeks to six months. We are happy to work in any capacity, either hands on including cleaning and cooking or management and staff supervision only.
